Why an apple? Apples have been “dropped” throughout our literature, mythology, history, and even science from embodying a symbol of knowledge to the Theory of Gravity. As such an important item in culture, I believed it was the perfect representation of my goals: thoughtful, knowledgable, and people-based.

Trained as an anthropologist, I bring my listening and observational skills to my graphic design business. I can guarantee my clients a thoughtful and collaborative product that will speak to their business values and audience.

Amanda Muir graduated from Skidmore College with a B.S. in Anthropology, which has lead her to explore traditional musical practices and cultural forms of expression and communication. Finding a growing need for museums, research centers, and folklore programs to represent themselves in a visual manner, she took up graphic design to help with educational branding. Her goal is to work in landscape architecture, using holistic research of how people and the environment interact in order to create sustainable solutions for climate change.

Her hobbies include horseback riding, reading, and fiddling.
